She's Got IssuesBy Stephanie Lessing
What Chloe wasn’t ready for though is the backstabbing and a boss who seems out to get her. Still Chloe is not willing to back down and besides she can’t leave such a wonderful job that even has a shoe closet for anyone to use. This novel speaks to any woman that loves shoes and fashion. I really enjoyed Chloe’s character because even though she was a bit flighty at times and enamored of material goods, she is a sweet character. She befriends everyone from the janitor to the editor of the magazine and despite her tribulations she doesn’t have it out for anyone. The other character that I really liked was her sister, Zoe. She is the exact opposite of Chloe but despite their differences she’s a fierce supporter of her sister. According to the book jacket a sequel is in the works and I hope we get to see more of Zoe. For those that like some romance in their novels there is that in She’s Got Issues as well, but just enough that it doesn’t overshadow and become the central part of the story. Beware though that once you read this novel you may have to make a trip to the Nordstrom’s shoe department pronto.
